Elon Musk released the latest Grok 4 model of the A.I.A.X.A.X.A.A. on Thursday. Although the bet market has not yet been bought, this has not prevented xAI from targeting an alarming valuation target in the upcoming new round of finance. According to a recent report in the British Financial Times, the XAI created by Mask is seeking a new round of $200 billion in valuation.
It is noteworthy that if XAI succeeds in achieving this round of financing, the company ‘ s valuation will increase tenfold in a year, with its valuation at the end of the year 2024 being only $20 billion. A new round of XAI will most likely be launched in August, which will be the third major round for the company in the last few weeks. XAI raised $300 million through two sales in June and completed another $10 billion in financing in early July. Of course, XAI is already trying to commercialize its large-language model Grok. For example, the company recently entered into a $300 million cooperation agreement with Telegram, the instant communication platform, to integrate the Grok AI chat robot into Telegram. However, the recent concern of xAI ‘ s Grok 4 is its ability to “reread” the Mask personal point of view. This customized large-language model was previously caught up in a wave of public opinion: it publicly praised Adolf Hitler and called itself “Mechhaitler”. The incident forced Social Platform X to remove many of the Grok posts that had been identified as anti-Semitism.
As noted earlier, the betting platform currently does not appreciate the capability of Grok 4. For example, in the “Best AI Model” competition launched this month by Kalshi on the predictive platform, xAI ‘ s Grok ranks only second in the long lead. Uniquely, in another Kalshi study, “Who will have the best programming model at the beginning of 2026”, OpenAI maintained a significant lead and XAI was again second in line. It is interesting to note that Mask has been promoting the programming capacity of Grok 4 over the past few days. It is clear, however, that Kalshi users do not currently buy.
