Freecash applications under Almedia ‘ s award platform have been reviewed and are back online at Google Play. Freecash posts in social media: “As a result of a comprehensive review, Google has built up our Android application. I thank the advertisers, partners and 70 million users for their patience and support during this period. The team is continuing to work with Apple to get back to the iOS system.”
Freecash, according to several media reports in April, collects a large amount of sensitive information about the user ‘ s personal life, health status and sexual orientation, acts as a data broker for mobile game advertisers, is under the double shelf of Google Play and App Store, and Freecash is also accused of misleading advertising. Almedia has stated that these reports describe its operations as “inaccurate and misleading”. Freecash is still unable to download it from App Store. In a post, Moritz Holländer, Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Almedia, wrote: “It is a pleasure to share this news. The past few weeks have been difficult, and our team has worked so hard to get here today. We are grateful to all our colleagues who stayed up all night for this, as well as to our partners and communities for their strong support. Meanwhile, we are still working with Apple to restore the iOS system as soon as possible.”
Almedia had previously stressed that the Freecash application was fully in line with the policies of the two main application stores, although there was little understanding of the marketing model. Freecash had climbed to the second highest in App Store application in the United States before the shelf, with nearly 20 million new users in 2026. Freecash is fast going red through a massive promotion on TikTok, where the marketing point is that users can make money through simple online activities. In April, Almedia issued a statement in response to Freecash’s fall from Apple Store and indicated that efforts were under way to understand the specific concerns raised by the Platform’s auditors and regulators.
